After 12 years, CentralApp is becoming Stride.
The name is changing. Your contracts, your prices, your logins, your data, your website and the team you know: everything stays in place. There's nothing for you to do.
But the product itself is evolving. And that's what this rename is really about.
Back in 2014, when Jean-Charles founded CentralApp, the problem we solved for you was centralisation. Your information was scattered across Google, Facebook, Foursquare, your website — often inconsistent, never up to date in all the places at once. Our job was to bring it all together and keep it in sync. Central. App. The name said exactly that.
Today, that problem is solved. But another one has taken its place — and it's become the real issue for any local business owner in 2026: neglect.
Websites age. Links break. Designs date. SEO falls behind. Content goes stale. Pew Research puts hard numbers on it at web scale: 38% of the pages that existed in 2013 have disappeared today. And our own analysis on restaurants is even starker: 3 out of 4 sites are no longer being updated just one year after launch.
That's where the product started to change, and where it will keep changing. We're no longer an app that centralises — we build and maintain your website so it never gets left behind. Live Google Reviews, Instagram feeds, dynamic menus, weekly technical updates, design that evolves over time, a human team that steps in when needed. A managed website as a service, not a piece of software for you to run.
And this direction will only get stronger. Every coming evolution of Stride will go the same way: less for you to do, more we take care of for you, so your website keeps delivering results without you ever having to think about it.
