Give every page a readable web address

Your pages have addresses made of words instead of numbers, which you can change language by language, and search engines get a clearer title for each.

Every page of your website now has an address made of words, like /menu/lunch-menu instead of a long number, in each of your languages. Shared on WhatsApp, in a newsletter or on a poster, the address says what opens before anyone taps, and it’s short enough to type.

The words also tell search engines what the page holds, in the page’s own language. Menus without a description now get one in search results, and location pages put your main category in their title.

Links you shared before keep working. Old addresses send visitors to the new one and tell search engines the page moved for good, so it keeps its place in search.

What's new

  • Each address is made from the item's name; a blog post's comes from its title.

  • Change it with Path on the item's page, in each of your languages. A language you leave empty uses your main language's address.

  • Two items with the same name still get two different addresses.

In technical terms: SEO-friendly URLs (slugs) for every page type, translated per language, with permanent 301 redirects from the old ID-based URLs.
